If you don’t have Muslims in your area now, you soon will. The refugee program is bringing more and more Muslims into our country. It all started under Bill Clinton. He signed an immigration law that is bringing in more and more immigrants into this country. Its purpose is to bring diversity into the United States. The majority of the “diversity” is coming from Muslim countries. Obama is trying to bring in more refugees from the Middle East, and Hillary Clinton wants to increase what Obama is doing by 500%. Their goal is to change America into something new.
For those of you in Canada, your birthrate is 1.3, and it takes at least 2 in one generation to maintain a people group. At 1.3, you will birth yourselves out of existence. This is why you need so many immigrants.
Sadly, here in the West, we have made the family a thing of the past. We have ceased to promote the values of the family. We are living for ourselves. We make our money, not to grow a family, but to buy our toys.
I mentioned the birth rate in Canada, but we are not much better here in America. Our birthrate is about 1.7. There are consequences for killing the unborn. We have to bring in immigrants to sustain ourselves economically. The problem is that we are bringing in those who don’t share the Christian values that made this country great. There are more and more Muslims, Hindus, and Sikhs, etc. This is why reaching Muslims for Christ is so important. Our response as Christians is that we should bring the Gospel to them.
The key to getting someone saved, is getting them into the Bible. This is just as true for Muslims as it is for non-Muslims. Remember, Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. It is not our persuasive abilities, it is the Holy Spirit, using the Word of God, that brings someone to Christ. If they are our converts, it will not save their souls, they must be true converts to Jesus Christ. Our goal is not to simply change someones opinion, it is to see them transformed into a child of God.
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. (Romans 12:2)
Some people try to make a reformation. They try to be a better person and rely on their good works. What is needed is a real transformation, that is to become a new creature in Christ Jesus. We are not saved by our works.
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. (Ephesians 2:8-9)
A reformation in our works will not save us. Our works can never be good enough to pay the debt of sin we owe.
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; (Romans 3:23)
We cannot reach the mark of God’s holiness. If you try to earn your way to Heaven, you will have to keep the Ten Commandments. This is an impossible task since you have already violated them. You may say you have never killed anyone, but Jesus told us that to have hate in your heart is equal to murder.
The bottom line is that to bring someone to Christ we must get him into the Word of God, and the Word of God must transform his life. The best place to take them is the Gospel of John. The Gospel message is very clearly spelled out in this book. It shows that Jesus Christ is God in the flesh. God took on flesh, dwelt among us, and laid down His life as a substitute, an all-sufficient sacrifice, to pay for our sin.
John the Baptist pointed Jesus out as the One who takes away the sin of the world.
The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. (John 1:29)
Jesus Christ came as a lamb to lay down His life as a blood atonement for the sin of mankind. Either you pay for your sin, or you accept the payment made by Jesus Christ. You must humble yourself, turn from your own efforts to save yourself, accept the gift of the sufficient sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross. You must accept the fact that you deserve the wrath of God. You must accept the fact that you are not good enough to go to Heaven and stand in the presence of a holy God. You must turn to God for mercy with a repentant heart, and accept the gift He has given in His Son, Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ came to offer Himself as an all sufficient sacrifice for our sin. He came so we don’t have to pay the price of the second death, which is an eternity in the Lake of Fire.
When we receive Christ as our Saviour, His righteousness is imputed to our account. When we quit standing in our own righteousness, and trust in the righteousness of Christ, God adopts us into His family, and we are transformed into the children of God. We become joint heirs with Christ.
The Gospel of John addresses a few issues. One of the biggest issues Muslims will have is over the deity of Christ. They have been taught that Jesus was just a man. The worst form of blasphemy for a Muslim is to call a man God. They have been taught that we make a man, Jesus, into a God. If they read to Gospel of John, they will learn that Jesus is not a man who became a god, He is God who became man. They will learn that the angel Gabriel said that Jesus would be called Emmanuel, which means God with us. Christians would also consider making man into a god as blasphemy.
The response of a Muslim will most likely be that it has been corrupted. Yesterday we learned the the Qur’an said the Bible would be kept from corruption.
Tell your Muslim friend to pray to the God of Abraham and ask Him to teach him as he reads it. I say the God of Abraham because He is not Allah, it is Jehovah.
