Today is the 16th anniversary of the infamous 9/11 attack on the United States. There are many who try to tell us this was not Islam, and these were not true Muslims, they were radicals who have hijacked Islam. Some say it was an inside job by President Bush. There are plenty of conspiracy freaks tying to make the attack something is was not. There is so much evidence to the contrary that it is amazing that people will buy into these theories.

The day we were attacked was the 318th anniversary of a defeat of the Islamic armies at the battle of the gates of Vienna. There was a siege by the Islamic armies of the Ottoman Empire, out of Turkey. They were trying to spread Islam by the sword into the Christian nations of Europe. They were defeated on September 11th, 1683.

September 11th is a painful memory in the Islamic world. On two occasions, Muslims tried to push into Europe by the sword. Fortunately the Christians of Europe fought back. If you don’t fight back against Islam, they will destroy you. There is very little Christianity in Asia because the Christians there did not fight back. They were either subjugated or killed by the Islamic sword. This is also why the largest Islamic countries are in Asia, Indonesia is number one, and India and Pakistan are numbers two and three. The majority of the Muslims in the world do not speak Arabic and only about 15% of the Muslims in the world are Arabs.

When Islam tried to come into Europe, they were first pushed back in 732 AD at the Battle of Poitiers. The Armies of Islam had marched across North Africa and into Spain. They sent their armies into France, and they got as far as Poitiers. The battle is often called the Battle of Tours, but it was actually fought in Poitiers, about 60 miles from Tours. The reason I make something of this is, my wife’s family is from Poitiers, and I have visited the battlefield where this took place. Charles Martel (Charles the Hammer) fought against the invading armies and pushed them back.

Nearly 1,000 year later, the Islamic armies tried to take Europe from the east and were defeated at the battle of Vienna. Had the Europeans not fought back, Europe would be Islamic today.

This is why Osama bin-Laden planed the attack on 9/11. On that day, nearly 3,000 people were ushered into eternity because of these jihadis.

Why did they do this, and why do they hate us? This was the question that was asked at that time. This date changed our nation forever. We don’t travel as easily as we used to. A lot of security started in our airports after the Lockerbie bombing.

We know that not every Muslim is a terrorist, but all terrorists are Muslims. This is something that people still refuse to acknowledge. The terrorists do what they do in the name of Allah. Even when the cry “Allahu Akbar,” people still scratch their heads trying to figure out the motive. They refuse to look at these attacks for what they really are. This is the product of the teachings of Muhammad.

We know that not every Muslim follow the Prophet’s agenda. Not every Muslim follows the Islamic scriptures, just as not every professing Christian follows the teachings of the Christian Scriptures. They call themselves Christians because they think it is a cultural thing. In the same way, many Muslims are merely cultural Muslims.

There is the true Islam and the fake Islam. The true Islam is going to follow Muhammad. That would be the purest form of Islam, would it not? Real Islam does not follow fanciful interpretations and try to explain way the clear teaching of their scriptures.

The fake Islam picks and chooses what they like about Islam and reject what they don’t like. They follow Islam like it was a buffet where you can pick and choose what you like. They take somethings, like the violence, an say they were just for the 7th century and are not for our day. Fortunately for us, about 80% of the Muslims in the world are following the fake Islam. Of course they don’t call it fake Islam, they call it moderate or reformed Islam.

The real Islam is the militant Islam because that is what Muhammad taught. Let me prove this to you. Context is everything, is it not? When you look at Scripture, you must look at it in its context. The same is true when you look at what the Islamic scriptures. The most violent chapter in the Qur’an is chapter 9. It is the last chapter that was given by Muhammad. It is the 9th chapter out of 117, because the chapters in the Qur’an are not in chronological order, they are arranged with the longest chapters first, and the shortest last.

When Muhammad gave this chapter, he was dying. They had robbed and pillaged everything in Arabia, and all of Arabia was in his control. They had stolen everything from the Jew and banished them from the country. In Chapter 9, he declares the Christians to be polytheists because he thought they worshiped three gods, God the Father, God the Son, and Mary. Muhammad really didn’t understand Christianity or its teachings. He thought the third part of the Trinity was Mary. The Christianity he was familiar with was Catholicism.

If verse 29 of chapter 9 Muhammad tells them:

Fight them who believe not, even if they be the people of the book (the Bible) until they pay Jizzia (an extortion tax)

This is exactly what ISIS is doing to the Christians in Syria. Christians are given three options: 1) become a Muslim, 2) stay alive as a Christian and pay the Jizzia, 3) die. Under Umar, the caliph when they went into Syria, we found out that the Jizzia could be up to 50% of what they owned and 50% of what they earned. This is not quite slavery, but it is only one step away. In the true Islam, Muslims are still following these practices.

As a Christian, I am a fundamentalist, and I am not ashamed to say so. By this I mean that I believe in the pure, fundamental teachings of the Bible, especially the New Testament. I know that the world thinks I am crazy for believing that there is only one way to Heaven, and that Christ is exclusive. If I was a Muslim, and believed in the fundamental teachings of Islamic scripture, I would join ISIS, and if I had the courage, I would perform jihad. This is the real face of Islam as taught by Muhammad and the Qur’an.

Why do Muslims hate us? Someone said:

They don’t attack  us because of what we do, they attack us because of who we are.

The fact is, we are not Muslims, we are kafr, filth, and deserve to die if we don’t convert. The mission of Islam is to bring us into subjugation or submission, to Islam. Islam means submit or surrender. Muslim means one who is submitted. They want us to submit to their beliefs, and the Shaddah, or statement of faith for Islam is:

There is no god but Allah, and Muhammad is his prophet.

Christians are always criticized for preaching exclusivity, but Islam also teaches exclusivity. They claim they are the exclusive way to Heaven.

Let me give you my 9/11 sermon. It is found in the Second Epistle of John:

Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into [your] house, neither bid him God speed: For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds. (2 John 1:9-11)

The Bible says that if you have the truth, you have the Father and the Son. The two distinctive things about Islam, the two things that distinguish them Christianity, is they deny the deity of Jesus Christ, and they deny the Father. They say “Allah hath no son.” The deity of Jesus Christ, and Jehovah God being His Father are two of the most fundamental teachings of Christianity.

These two denials by Islam are what, according to the epistles of John, makes Islam the antichrist religion.

Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. (1 John 2:22)
