Standing Against Islamic Terrorism

On Monday we celebrated the 16th anniversary of the 9/11 attack. I noticed something different in the speeches commemorating this attack, and I am not happy about what I am about to say. During his campaign President Trump was very bold about the fact that the terrorism we are facing is Islamic terrorism.

For eight years our country had been reluctant, even afraid, to say the terrorism was Islamic. I believe that one reason Trump was elected was that he was on point about this issue. In every speech that President Trump gave on Monday, and the speeches by VP Pence and the other administration officials, they failed to call it Islamic terrorism. They did not even mention radical Islam. Instead of Trump being a leader, he is now being led by some of his advisors.

I was highly critical of Obama for making this very same mistake. I was even critical of Bush when he did the same thing. For me this is not a partisan Issue. It cannot be, our national security should not be based on partisanship, but this is what it has become.

I was critical of Obama, and it had nothing to do with his skin color. It is foolish to even think that skin color matters. Those who don’t like those of us who were critical of Obama’s policies and want to shut them down will call us racists. I am going to be just as critical of Trump when I believe he makes the mistake of going down this road. It is my hope that he will regain his senses, bloodshed and start naming the terrorism as Islamic terrorism. This is necessary for the sake of our security.

One of the basic principles of winning a war is, “know thy enemy.” If we can’t even call our enemy by his rightful name, we cannot defeat him. Not calling them who they are allows them to hide right in front of us. It we wish to win, we must clearly identify who our enemy is.

I am greatly saddened by this change in Trump’s rhetoric. We need to pray that he will turn around and get back to where he was during his campaign.

I want to call your attention of a new documentary that is, for a limited time, available online. It is called, “Can’t We Talk About This?” These were the very last words that a journalist said to a Muslim before the Muslim chopped off his head, announcing the the journalist had offended Islam. You can watch the trailer by clicking here, or you can watch the whole thing here for $4.99.

This film was produced by the American Freedom Defense Initiative. This group was started by Pamela Geller and Robert Spenser. They are pushing back against the lawfare (using our laws against us) that Islam is using against those who are speaking out against Islam and exposing the problems of Sharia and Islamic terrorism.

We can’t talk about these issues, and if we try to, they will try to shut us down or kill us. If they can’t do that, and they can’t legally here in the US, they will try and smear us and intimidate us. They will call us by dirty names like hate-mongers, islamophobes, racist, etc. They will suggest that we are not good for society.

As you know, they have been trying to do this to us at Fortress of Faith. About two years ago the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) put us on their list of hate groups. The SPLC is a left wing organization who puts anyone that who disagrees with them on this list. They will not put real hate groups, like Black Lives Matter and Antifa, on their list because they like what they are doing to shut down the free speech of those who are on the right.

We are on the list simply because we oppose Islam. They won’t argue with us on the facts because they know that they cannot win, the facts are on our side. The facts tell us that Islam has a 1,400 year history of conquest, bloodshed, and of killing those who do not convert to Islam. This is exactly what their Prophet, Muhammad, did, and they are to follow his example. He commanded them to kill those who disagreed with Islam. He did give Christians another option. they could remain Christian if they submitted to Islam and paid an extortion tax.

The reason we have groups like ISIS and Al-Qaeda is they are following the teachings of the Islamic scriptures and of their Prophet. These are the ones who are following the true Islam. Many today are following a fake Islam. They are called “moderate” or “reformed” Muslims. Those who follow true Islam don’t make excuses and try to get around difficult passages, they just obey what their scriptures say.

Those who follow the fake Islam pick and choose which passages they want to follow. They like the “peaceful” passages and they reject those that teach warfare (jihad) against non-Muslims.

The facts support our arguments about Islam. It is not hate to tell the truth about Islam, it actually shows concern for those who are deceived by this evil ideology. Hate is having a passionate dislike and malice for something. I have a passionate dislike for olives. It does not mean I have malice in my heart toward olives. I have a passionate objection to the teachings of Islam, but I don’t have malice toward Muslims.

Islam is offensive to the Christian because it denigrates our Saviour. It teaches that He was just a man and not the Son of God. The fact that their teaching offends me, does not mean that I have malice in my heart toward Muslims. Malice means to have a wish for ill to come upon them. My desire for Muslims is good. I want to see them rescued from the evil ideology of Islam, I don’t want to do them harm, nor do I want others to do them harm.

The Bible doesn’t teach me to have malice toward my enemy, it teaches me to love my enemy. Islam does not teach love. It teaches to fight them that believe not, strike them at their neck, chop off their limbs. It also teaches intimidation of those who are not Muslims. This is where the real hate is to be found.

Since they can’t argue with the facts, and since they can’t kill us, they resort to smear tactics to try and stop us from speaking out. This is what the SPLC hate group list is all about. There tactic is not working. For many, being on their list is becoming a badge of honor. The fact that they think we are a threat to their agenda causes others to think we must be doing something right.

We want to encourage you to watch the video “Can’t We Talk About This.” It will cost you $4.99 to watch it, but it will be well worth your time and money. There are interviews with some of the top people who are working to get the truth out about Islam.

Let me remind you about my Stop The Hate Tour. If you are on our email list, you have received the dates and times. If you are not, and would like to know the dates and times, you can call us at 1-800-616-0082,  We are not putting this information online for security reasons.

We must not only stand on the truth, we must also have the courage to speak out against error and do something about it.
