I want to begin by wishing each and every one of you a Merry Christmas. It is a joyous time as we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. I hope this season brings you much joy and happiness as you spend time with family and friends, and as we lift our hearts in praise and thanksgiving to our God in Heaven for sending us the unspeakable gift, the gift of salvation through His Son.

Today’s broadcast may not be so merry as we delve into the subject matter I feel I must address today. I feel I must address this because of the enormity of what has just recently happened. The United Nations stood in almost perfect unity against Israel and the United States yesterday. The General Assembly held an emergency session to condemn the US for recognizing Jerusalem as the Capital of Israel and saying we would move our embassy there. An overwhelming majority voted to condemn the US for this. 128 nations voted to condemn this move. Only eight other nations voted with us, and 35 nations were to cowardly to vote one way or another.

The nations who stood with us are Israel, Guatemala, Honduras, The Marshal Islands, Micronesia, Nauru, Palau, and Togo. Canada was one of the abstentions, along with Australia and Mexico. The United Kingdom voted against America on this condemnation.

President Trump said:

“They take hundreds of millions of dollars and even billions of dollars, and then they vote against us. Well, we’re watching those votes. Let them vote against us. We’ll save a lot. We don’t care,”

Nikki Haley recently gave a speech at the UN General Assembly on moving the American Embassy to Jerusalem. Here is the whole speech:

What a terrific speech. We finally have a United Nations Ambassador with the courage to tell the truth. I am so proud of Nikki Haley. I don’t think I don’t think we have had as great leadership in the UN since the days of John Bolton.

We need to realize that a line has been drawn in the sand. The United States has but the United Nations on notice. I believe we have a President that will not fold on this issue. I believe this is a good move. It is time that we paid attention to where we spend our money.

Why did all of these nations stand against Israel? It is because they are appeasers. Appeasement never works, and if any nation should know better, it should be Great Britain. In WWII, Chamberlain, the Prime Minister of Great Britain, appeased Hitler, believing there would be peace if he did. Even before the ink dried, Hitler moved his troops into Poland. You can never trust a bully.

The world’s Middle East policy has been to appease the Arab leaders, especially the Palestinians. Did you know that since 1994, we have given the Palestinians 4.5 billion dollars in foreign aid? This money was given to promote democracy and to advance the peace process. If you add what the rest of the world has given, the Palestinian Authority has received more than 25 billion dollars in financial aid. This money is not being spent for the purpose which it was given.

I reject the two state solution because I don’t think it will ever work. I think we need to withdraw that option, and start moving in another direction. Until we do, nothing will change.
