I have entitled todays post “Weaponized Hijabs.” The Hijab is the head covering that Muslim women wear. There are different types and styles depending on the different cultures that the women come from.
We don’t always realize that Muslims come from many different cultures, languages, and countries. Only 15% of Muslims are Arabs. About 85% of the Muslims in the world are practicing their religion in a language, Arabic, that they don’t understand. They repeat terms that they don’t know the meaning of. Like parrots, they learn phrases and just repeat them at the appropriate times. This also includes their prayers.
The largest Muslim country in the world is Indonesia, followed by India and Pakistan. Most of the Muslims in the world are in Asia.
In the West, we have a hard time identifying Muslim men and women. Sometimes those we think are Muslim are Hindu or Sikh or some other Eastern religion. Muslim men cut their hair short and Hindus grow their hair long. The Hindus wrap their hair in a turban. Muslim men may wear a similar looking turban, although it is not called that. Most Muslim men will wear what is called a Kufi.
Muslim women wear a Hijab, or head scarf. Sometimes they will cover their face with the niqab, and some will wear a full body burqa. There is a lot of variety in the dress of Muslims.
Let me explain what I mean by “weaponized hijabs.” I am talking about Muslims in Western countries that are not making bombs and this kind of weapons, but who are creating social weapons. These weapons are used against our culture. I want to look at some things that have been in the news lately which show how they are doing this.
About a month ago, on Jan. 5, Khawlah Noman, 11, claimed she was attacked by an Asian man who cut her hijab with scissors while she was walking to school in Scarborough. The story received international attention and drew outrage from Canadian politicians, including Trudeau.
In Canada there is a battle over Motion 103, which wants to make it a criminal offense to say anything negative about Islam. It is called the “Islamophobia Bill.” As a result, the Canadians are touchy about the so-called abuses that Muslims are claiming they are subject to by the “racists” in Canada.
The Canadians, like the Europeans, have been brought up in multiculturalism. This has resulted in their losing sight of who they are as a nation. They say, “Diversity is our strength.”
All of the different ethnic groups say they have equal rights with everyone else and claim that their rights are being abused. The Muslims are the champions at beating this drum and playing the victim card.
The Prime Minister, Trudeau, tweeted:
“My heart goes out to Khawlah Noman following this morning’s cowardly attack on her in Toronto,” “Canada is an open and welcoming country and incidents like this cannot be tolerated.”
It turned out that the whole thing was a hoax. The police investigated and found that this girl had lied about the incident. It is suspected that her mother was involved in orchestrating it. It was an attempt to say that Muslims were being victimized in Canada and there needs to be legislation to protect them.
Canada already has laws to protect them from this kind of thing. They have a law that protects the religious freedom of all faiths. The Muslims don’t want equal treatment under the law, they want special treatment. The purpose of Motion 103 is to give Muslims a special protected status.
Hijab Hoax Rally on Sunday
On Sunday Feb. 4 there were rallies across the country. In Vancouver we saw a significant number of very disgruntled Canadian citizens, mainly Asians, take to the streets to protest the ” hijab hoax ” from a few weeks ago in Toronto . Over a hundred people , mostly from the local Chinese community organized and participated in this very public event . Banners , placards and Canadian flags were raised in front of the Vancouver Art Gallery.
These protesters said they are the ones being victimized by this hoax. They were the ones being accused falsely of being racists. We need religious freedom for all people.
Many of our listeners from our home station, KARI, were at the rally in Vancouver. The picture above is from one of our listeners.
Wear a Hijab or Get Expelled
Let’s look at another story that shows the using of the hijab as a weapon. In Florida a Muslim student tried to get another student expelled for refusing to wear a hijab. The University of Central Florida had a “Wear A Hijab” day. The second student, Kathy Zhu, was invited to wear a hijab, and because she didn’t want to, the Muslim student, Rayyan Sukkarieh, went on twitter and posted the following:
“TWITTER DO YOUR THING,” continued the Muslim student. “Let’s get this girl expelled….Ignorance will not be tolerated at my campus.”
Again, the hijab is being used as a weapon. What would have happened if this was the other way around, and a Muslim girl was invited to wear a cross, refused to do so, and the Christian started trying to get her expelled?
East London primary school backs down over hijab ban
St Stephen’s primary school in Newham, east London, which has a 41% Muslim population, hit the headlines at the weekend after the Sunday Times reported it had banned Muslim girls under the age of eight from wearing headscarves, to the delight of campaigners who argued it enforces religious conformity on children.
As you would expect, there was quite a reaction from the Muslim community. They pressured the school authorities to overturn their rule, and they did.
Iran Arrests 29 Women As Headscarf Protests Intensify
In the Muslim world, Muslim women are protesting against the hijab. About a month ago, a brave Iranian lady took off her hijab and waved it in the air to protest the oppression that comes with Islam by making the women wear the hijab. The protest has grown, and there are many others joining it.
TEHRAN, IRAN: Tehran police have arrested 29 women for appearing in public without a headscarf as protests against the dress code in force since the Islamic revolution of 1979 intensify. Those arrested were accused of public order offences and referred to the state prosecutor’s office.
Unprecedented images of at least 11 women protesting the same way had been widely shared on social media.
A prominent human rights lawyer told AFP on Tuesday that one of the detained women had her bail set at more than $100,000 (80,000 euros).
If we continue to keep giving in to Muslims, this will soon be seen in our countries as well. Muslims will continue to play the victim card, and will win the sympathy of the less discerning. Before you know it, they will gain the upper hand.
It is time that we put our foot down and stop this encroachment into our culture. This is a cultural jihad, designed to make our country Sharia compliant.
