UNRWA Exposed

UNRWA Exposed

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency, known as UNRWA which is charged with the responsibility of distributing aid, welfare, health benefits and education to the refugees of Palestine.   They were organized on December 8, 1949 and have a staff of 30,000 and a budget of over $800 Million to look after 5.3 Million Palestinian refugees.

UNRWA involved on October 7th Attack

Yet we learned recently that a dozen or more members of the UNRWA was involved in the attack of Israel on October 7th.  There are photographs and even video evidence of members of UNRWA taking hostages amongst other things.[1]  The  National Security Secretery, Antony Blinken, admitted that the evidence is highly, highly credible that at least a dozen or more of UNRWA workers were involved in the October 7th attack.

We are Funding Terrorism

Despite its mission, UNRWA seems to be part of the problem rather than the solution. Operating on a staggering budget of $806 million per year, the organization received substantial contributions from various countries including The United States, Canada, England Germany and many more. However, critics argue that UNRWA has failed to resettle a single refugee since its inception in 1949, creating a systemic challenge for Israel. We join the calls to halt funding for UNRWA and advocate for its dissolution.  The organization has been corrupted with Islamic fundamentalism and is not an unbiased operator of aid in the region.

We do not need UNRWA when we also have UNHCR

We already have an organization in the UN that deals with the refugees of the world, UNHCR, the United Nations High Council on Refugees.  Look at the differences.

(United Nations Relief and Works Agency)
(United Nations High Council on Refugees)
Handles 5.2 million refugees Handles 65.6 million refugees
Serves Descendants –  On 4th Generation Does not serve Descendants
Citizenship does not release them Citizenship releases from status
1 staff per 186  1 staff per 5,982
Resettled — ZERO!!! Resettled Millions

Why are there two organization in the UN dealing with refugees?  The UNHCR deals with all the refuges of the world except one people group, the Palestinians.  The UNHCR has resettled millions of refuges and yet the UNRWA has yet to resettle one.  Why is the one conflict of 1948 given it’s own organization when there have been hundreds of conflicts, even greater in scale than the Israel/Arab conflict of 1948?

For example, why do we not have a special group handling the Pakistan/India conflict of 1947, a year earlier than the Israel/Arab conflict of 1948?  The Pakistan/India conflict was much greater.  There were over 1 million killed and 10 million displaced.  How is it that their refuges went to UNHCR, but special organization is created for the Israel/Arab conflict?  The UNHCR created solutions for India and Pakistan, yet the issues in Israel and the Arabs have not grown smaller but instead have increased with more and more bloodshed.

One reason why is that the UNRWA has different rules and different guidelines that creates about serving descendants.  The UNHCR has a policy to not serve descendants. If you have not yet been resettled and grow into an adult or get married, you and your children are cut off from the benefits of the UNHCR.  They will not serve descendants.

However UNRWA is now serving its fourth generation of Arabs.  This is how they have grown from 700,000 refuges to over Five million refugees.[2]  We are actually growing the problem, not shrinking it.    Also, when a person gets citizenship in a new country they are cut out of the program of the UNHCR.  But in the UNRWA, they are retained in the program as victims and receive a welfare check, get healthcare and education while being citizens of Syria or Jordan.  This is simply corrupt.

It is scandalous to see almost a billion dollars a year being used for corruption.  While UNHCR operates on a staff ratio of one for every 6,000 refugees, and they resettle millions with their work, it is clear they should get more funding.  While the UNRWA has a staff ratio of one for every 200 refugees and not one refugee has been resettled.

Extremism is systemic with UNRWA Teachers

UNRWA operates schools in the West Bank, Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, and Jordan.

The United Nations Watch, delivered a report to the House Committee on Foreign Affairs.  The Executive Director of UN Watch, Hillel Noor, was thorough and severely damaging to the integrity of the UN and the UNRWA.   Here is a link to the full video of the of the meeting.  Hillel Neuer’s speech to the House Committee starts around 1 hour and 6 minutes into the video.[3]  UN Watch is a

Geneva-based non-government organization called an NGO whose stated mission is to monitor the performance of the United Nations by the yardstick of its own charter.

I recommend you read the UN Watch report on UNRWA’s TERRORGRAM[4].   On the social media platform called TELEGRAM, 3,000 UNRWA teachers celebrated the massacre of Israelis on October 7th.    UNRWA is not educating, but indoctrinating children in the schools to hate Jews.  It is revealed that  113 educators there were found online promoting hate and violence against Israel. In addition, 82 teachers and other staff affiliated with UNRWA within 30 UNRWA schools were involved in distributing hateful content amongst their students. Another UNRWA teacher, Hani Jouda, is an administrator of this hate chat group and has filled his social media platform with antisemitism.

Another UNRWA teacher, Elham Mansour, posted the following on her Facebook: “By Allah, anyone who can kill and slaughter any Zionist and Israeli criminal, and doesn’t do so, doesn’t deserve to live. Kill them and pursue them everywhere, they are the greatest enemy.  All Israel deserves is death.

We are thankful to UN WATCH[5] and their help to inform the world of the corruption and evil in the United Nations.  Concerned citizens should petition our governments to stop financial support.
